Leichhardt Wanderers Cricket Club

For 2026-27, we have a brand-new pre-season initiative to get our juniors ready for the cricket season - two weekend, club-wide training sessions focused on fielding, with a bit of fitness and running-between-wickets thrown in!

It's not always a well-known fact that fielding can be the key to a great cricket team - indeed players at every level will spend more time fielding than any other aspect of the game! During these interactive sessions, we will have drills and activities set up to cover: throwing, ground fielding, high catching, close catching and running between wickets.

Join us for two club-wide training sessions, details below:

🤾 Who? Registered LWCC juniors of any age - drills will be tailored for age groups
🗓️ Sunday 20th and 27th September
⏱️ 11am-1pm
📍 Blackmore Oval, Leichhardt
💰 Cost: Free!

No equipment is needed, just bring your hat, sunscreen and some water!
